As a fan who has played both of these series, Im honestly going to have to go with mario and luigi as the more enjoyable of the two. Mario and Luigi Superstar saga. Jeez I haven't played this game in years. While taking elements from RPG and Paper Mario, it managed to become its own unique experience. It also spawned an ongoing series that I look forward to every time a new entry is coming out (I CAN NOT WAIT FOR PAPER JAM!!). It's hilarious writing, and amazing battle system is rewarding and still doesn't bore me.
